I had someone rub me the wrong way today and it made me think about that way of saying a person did something that annoyed you. 

Taken literally, it’s kinda funny. Like you ran into someone who gave you a bad massage. Lol. 

For me personally, this could be a LOT of people because I don’t really like massages. It takes a real professional to NOT rub me the wrong way. 

That said, if I found such a person I wouldn’t go around telling everyone he or she “really rubbed me the right way.” Lol. People might get the wrong impression. 

It’s doubtful that I’ll get “rubbed the wrong way" again today but if I do I’ll let you know.
