Many nights I wake up at midnight craving a nice wholesome glass of milk. Tonight was no exception but for some reason I decided to just pee and forego the late night dairy. 

Good thing I did because, as you can see from the text my roommate sent earlier, the milk is bad. 

This is disappointing for a number of reasons not the least of which is the fact that I made a special trip to get this milk BEFORE the bad weather moves in. So much for that plan. 

Now I could let this sad state of affairs upset me more than it should or I could calmly just return the milk (albeit in bad weather) and get more. 

Today I’m choosing the calm route and I’m simply thankful God has blessed me with the means to buy milk in any condition. Gratefulness over entitlement. In making this choice, God is keeping me on the road of contentment which is much easier than other roads one could choose.
